Training & Certification
Your Home Check America inspector is highly trained and most qualified inspector in the business. Our inspectors have college or advanced degrees and years of inspecting experience, and our inspectors train six (6) times longer than the average inspector in the State of Illinois.
What does this mean to you?! It means that we will be able to explain what is happening and why. Wouldn't you rather have an inspector who works for you and can tell you what is a real issue and what is just a minor maintenance concern?
Experience. We have performed hundreds upon hundreds of inspections in the greater Chicagoland area. Each home is unique, having inspected more buildings than most inspectors, gives us an advantage we pass on to you. We've inspected all kinds of buildings like the one you are buying or selling; old, new, manufactured, duplexes, four or more flats, office and commercial buildings, industrial properties, etc.
College Educated. Our inspectors have college and/or advanced degrees. Communication in our business is very important, especially if their are problems later and you might need your inspector to appear in court.
ASHI Certified Inspector. The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), founded in 1976, is North America's oldest and most respected professional society of home inspectors. ASHI's goals have always been to build customer awareness of the importance of a quality home inspection and enhance the professionalism of home inspectors.
Certified Commercial Building Inspector. Our certified education from Inspection Training Associates couple with many years of commercial building inspections while abiding by the standards set forth in the ASTM 2018 ensures you that your needs will be met. In addition, we will meet your budgetary, your desired level of inspection of the structure and your time frame needs.
State licensed. Our inspectors have to pass the state exam and maintain our license with continuing education classes. No Home Check America inspector has EVER failed the state exam on the first try, not even once. Some inspectors have to take the test multiple times before they pass it.
To summarize: Nothing beats experience! Home Check America has conducted hundreds upon hundreds of inspections. There is a reason for this and it's our combination of experience, training, education and customer service skills! You may be able to find someone cheaper than Home Check America, but you won't find anyone more qualified.
The experience you need with service you can trust!
